Synergies

  • The CONDOR energy range (sub-TeV) is well suited to contribute to "multi-messenger" studies of the Extreme Universe in tandem with facilities covering other light frequencies or gravitational waves.

  • The CONDOR sensitivity will be optimized for the lowest energies that are measurable at ground level. It complement other facilities optimized for higher energies such as the Southern Wide-field Gamma-ray Observatory, which is currently in planning stage, or the ALPACA observatory, which is currently under construction in Bolivia.

  • CONDOR will provide an all-sky and continuous view of the Southern sky down to 100 GeV. It thus will have the capacity to trigger observations of more sensitive instruments that can only operate a small fraction of the time within a narrow field of view such as the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA), which is currently under construction in Chile.
